Job Description

You will deliver professional massage and bodywork treatments at our Penn Station wellness center. Guests arrive on their own terms, some for a full treatment, some for twenty minutes between things, so reading a guest quickly and adapting matters as much as your technique.

• Deliver massage and bodywork treatments in line with XWELL protocols
• Run a proper consultation before every treatment, so guests are comfortable and safe
• Keep your space, tools and station spotless and compliant with all sanitation and safety standards
• Recommend the wellness and skincare products that genuinely suit your guest
• Work alongside estheticians, nail specialists and stretch therapists as one team

• An active and valid New York State massage therapy license. Applications without the correct state license cannot be considered.
• Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology and a range of massage modalities
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Professionalism, punctuality and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 35 lbs

• Experience in a multi-service wellness center, day spa or medspa
• Additional modalities such as deep tissue, sports or prenatal massage
• Comfort recommending retail products as part of a treatment
• Additional languages, our guests come from everywhere
