At Screaming Eagle Delivery, Inc., we see ourselves as the heartbeat of the Maywood community. We know that behind every parcel is a person waiting for a birthday gift, a necessary supply, or a long-awaited package, and we pride ourselves on making those moments happen. We are currently looking for a dependable Contract Mail Carrier to help us keep our small town connected. This is a Monday through Saturday, 49-mile, 2 hour a day job. You aren't just driving a route; you are the familiar face that greets residents every day. Responsibilities
Safely navigate your assigned mail route throughout Maywood and the surrounding rural areas.
Sort, load, and deliver packages and mail parcels with care and accuracy.
Maintain clear communication with our dispatch office regarding daily progress or route obstacles.
Ensure all packages are scanned correctly upon arrival and delivery to provide real-time updates to our clients.
Represent our company with a friendly attitude whenever you interact with the neighbors along your route.
Perform routine checks on your vehicle to ensure safety and reliability for your daily operations.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle suitable for navigating rural routes.
Capacity to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable using GPS and basic mobile tracking applications.
Ability to work early morning shifts starting before sunrise.
Prior experience in delivery or local route management is helpful but not mandatory.
Vehicle with 120 cubic inches of cargo space, Van, SUV, or pickup truck with topper/bedcover.
