As a Contract Mail Carrier, you are the face of our operation. You will spend your day enjoying the scenic views of Northern California while providing a service that your neighbors genuinely rely on. Responsibilities
Load and unload mail and parcel deliveries according to a set schedule.
Navigate designated routes to ensure accurate and timely drop-offs at residential and business addresses.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to ensure safe operation.
Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding route progress or unexpected delays.
Ensure all mail items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations.
Document delivery completions through our mobile tracking software.
Requirements
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds regularly.
Reliable personal vehicle that meets safety and space requirements for mail transport.
Current proof of vehicle insurance and registration.
Comfort working independently and navigating local routes efficiently.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Geographical knowledge of Blue Lake and surrounding Humboldt County areas.
Vehicle with 120 cubic inches of cargo space. Suv, van or truck with a bedcover.
